Event Spotlight: 13th Annual Chi Chi Pro Am event raised a net $186,000 for educational programs
In March, the Chi Chi Pro Am sponsors enjoyed a beautiful day at the Feather Sound Country Club. Before teeing off, all guests experienced a clinic with Long Drive and Trick Shot Artist Trevor Consavage as well as a warm up station with Florida Physio. On the course, each group had a PGA or LPGA Pro to share the day with and Dialed In Golf Solutions provided Trackman Technology for drives off the 1st tee. Following play, lunch featured Foundation Board Chairman Tom James and Emcee/Board Member Phil Powell for a Live Auction and celebrating winners of the tournament. Event Co-Chairs Vin Campagnoli and Mark Carron proudly announce the event netted approximately $186,000 to further our mission of hope for community families. The net funds raised will support the annual $979,575 programming budget to educate and assist at-risk children using the golf course as a living classroom. EVENT SPOTLIGHT: MUSIC ‘N MISTLETOE TAKES PLACE AT AMALIE ARENA
On December 18th, the Foundation celebrated the Holiday season with our 4th Music ‘n Mistletoe event at the Amalie Arena. Board Members, sponsors and their guests enjoyed a buffet dinner, Live Auction and Program including speeches from Board Chairman Tom James and Emcee Phil Powell. Following the program in the Firestick Grill guests headed to their VIP seats in the arena for Cirque Musica’s Holiday Wishes, a show where cirque meets music. Co-Chairs Phil & Melanie Powell and Bill & Mikki Wickett proudly announce the event netted approximately $78,000. Funds raised support the yearly education budget serving our mission in preparing students for success in the most important game of all, life! Thank you Tom & Mary James and Bob & Debbie Basham for co-hosting this amazing event and to our sponsors who continue to support our students’ education!
