We have taken enhanced health and safety measures-for you, our other guests, volunteers, and staff members. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting the Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club and/or the Chi Chi Rodriguez Driving Range.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By visiting Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club and/or the Chi Chi Rodriguez Driving Range, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19

COVID-19 Update
The Golf Course and Driving Range are Open, and We’re Taking Extra Precautions to Ensure the Safety of Our Community.
With the new "Safer at Home" Order by Pinellas County in effect on March 26th, we wanted to update everyone on the status regarding each of our businesses and programs.
The Youth Foundation is committed to the health and well-being of all our students, families, participants, guests, volunteers, team members, and our community. We continue to monitor our City, County, School Board, State, and CDC communications regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We meet regularly to make sure we are doing our very best to serve our community.
Golf Club:
WE ARE OPEN! To comply with the CDC guidelines, social distancing, and suggestions by the National Golf Course Owners Association "Park and Play Program," we have implemented the following measures:
Tee Times will now be further apart.
All ball washers have been removed throughout the course.
All carts will be washed and sanitized after every use.
Individuals will have their own cart. Family members can still share a cart.
We are asking all golfers to leave the pin in the cup at all times. All cups are raised for easy access.
All rakes have been removed.
Only a limited number of guests will be allowed inside the pro shop to check-in. Guests are requested to comply with the 6 ft social distancing recommended.
We ask all of our guests to comply with these measures as well. If you feel ill, please stay home and allow yourself time to get well. Our team is happy to reschedule tee times as needed.
Driving Range:
WE ARE OPEN! To comply with the CDC guidelines, social distancing, and suggestions by the National Golf Course Owners Association "Park and Play Program," we have implemented the below measures:
All buckets will be washed with soap and water between each use.
All balls will be washed between each use.
We request all guests to comply with 6 ft social distancing recommended.
We ask all of our guests to comply with these measures as well. If you feel ill, please stay home and allow yourself time to get well. Our team is happy to reschedule tee times as needed.
Youth Foundation:
Our team is in the office from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and available at (727) 726-8829.
Chi Chi Academy Public School:
As a Pinellas County School, the Academy is following all guidelines instituted by the District and will be closed until April 15th. Following the pickup of devices and food this week, our students have started virtual learning with their teachers! First Tee Life Skills Programs:
The current start date for Saturday programming is in line with the Pinellas County School District, with the first Saturday class on April 18th. We will continue to monitor and communicate any changes to this start date as needed. If you have already scheduled your child to participate but are now unable to attend, please let our team know. We will refund the session or put it on hold for a future session.
