Mike played amateur golf for 25 years, eventually winning the club championship at Stow Acres Country Club in 2010 in Boston, MA. He earned his PGA of America Class A designation in 2014. In 2018, as a club professional, Mike won the North Florida Senior Section Championship carding a career competition low of 65. A strong desire to share with others a lifetime of golf experiences has led him to the teachings of Hall of Famer, Mike Adams and Terry Rowles. These instructors have created a systematic approach to teaching that focuses on golf movements through time and space. Focusing on biomechanics allow each lesson to be customized to the individual.
